iiWhat you're buying

Each package is a website built for your family, at your own domain, with the pages, hosting period and revision rounds listed for that package on our pricing. Prices are in pounds sterling.

• Domain and hosting are included for the period stated in your package. After that, renewal is £120 a year to keep the archive live. We'll remind you well before anything is due.
• Founding families (our first twelve for the 2026–27 season) keep their renewal at £120 a year for life. Letters to the Future, normally part of The Living Legacy and The Heirloom, is also included with Chapter One.
• Later additions such as new chapters or extra revision rounds are priced separately, as shown on our pricing, and agreed with you before we start.

iiiPayment and timing

We'll agree the package and timings with you before taking payment. Build times depend on how quickly we receive your photos and story; we'll give you an expected date once we have them.

ivChanging your mind

You can cancel within 14 days of paying for a full refund, as long as we haven't started building. If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, we'll refund the payment minus a fair amount for the work already done.

vGift cards

• A gift card is for the package shown on it, at the price paid. It's valid for two years from the date of purchase.
• We email the buyer a hand-finished digital card, as a PDF to print at A5 and an image to send, within 24 hours of payment. We don't post physical cards.
• The recipient redeems it by sending us the code on the card. We then arrange a short call and schedule their build.
• The card can be upgraded to a larger package by paying the difference. It can't be exchanged for cash.
• Gift cards bought during the 2026–27 season hold a founding place for the recipient: their renewal stays at £120 a year, for life, and a Chapter One gift card includes Letters to the Future.
• The buyer can cancel within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, as long as the build hasn't started. After that the card is non-refundable, but it can be passed on to someone else. Just let us know.
• If something on our side ever stopped us from honouring a gift card, we'd refund the buyer in full.

viYour photos and words

Everything you send us remains yours. We use it only to build and look after your archive. We won't share your site or show it to anyone without your permission. Any site can be password protected, and you can ask for a full copy of your archive at any time.

Please only send us photos, recordings and stories you have the right to share.

viiIf something goes wrong

Tell us, and we'll put it right. These terms don't affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law.
